Long-time house devote Santé serves up an ode to the genre he loves with new single ‘A Thing Called House’ on Moon Harbour.
German artist Santé is no stranger to this label having released here several times over the last decade. His sound is rooted in chunky low ends, captivating basslines and synth work that brings plenty of warmth and soul. A spoken word sermon builds the atmosphere as the rubbery kicks thud down low and shakers add texture. Rippling synths peel off the beats and there’s a real sense of building towards a peak that adds extra edge. As the synths keep looping and the raw percussion keeps things rolling, dancers cannot fail to be moved by both the message and the music.
