House mainstay Yousef returns to Moon Harbour two years after his last outing for another pair of dynamite house tracks, this time in collaboration with Black Circle.

Yousef has been a driving force in dance music’s underground for many years having gone from local Liverpool star to globally acclaimed DJ, procure, remixes and Circus partying leader. His technically impressive DJing has led to him appearing on the Essential Mix, residencies in Ibiza and a weekly radio show that is on more than 100 FM stations. His studio work has appeared on Desolat, BPitch Control, Cocoon, Defected and Cecille as well as this one before now.

Black Circle has quickly established himself in a short space of time with his first release in 2019 signed to Sabb’s record label RADIANT. Out went on to receive support from respected DJs in the game like Black Coffee, Nic Fanciulli, Super Flu, OXIA and Âme, and now impresses again here.

Opener ‘Paris’ is a bristling wall of tech-house sound, with silvery hi-hat ringlets and warm, pumping bass and kicks. It will amp up any crowd and is filled with all sorts of tense breakdowns and slick drops to keep dancers on their toes, all while the vocal refrain loops up top to send you wild. Second sizzling offering ‘Re-Discover’ is more serene and future-facing, with soulful pads searching across the horizon as deep, dynamic drums groove into the cosmos.

These are two different but equally brilliant tracks from this fine pairing.
